Welcome to my Poetry Page. Yes I occasionally write what can pass as poetry when the mood strikes me. Some poems are serious, some are fun, and some are just plain silly. Enjoy!

Another GW poem from Duo's POV. When Nobody's Looking A silly poem I wrote. At The Wishing Well A cute little poem centered around Trunks, Goten and a Wishing Well. Lonely in Myself I wrote this one for Ranma. From Ranma's POV. The Color of My Love If love was a color what would it be? Dead Roses I wrote this while writing a fic in the Soul Series. Glass Cages Interpret freely, but it was written in anger against homophobic people. Divine Justice Interpret freely. Surrender Surrender to death. Makes me think of Duo. Trigger Trigger just seemed a fitting name. As in trigger to suicide or something like that. This one makes me think of Duo too. Solitude Sounds like the title. I Likw it My Way By: Missfortune I don't mean to sound callous I don't mean to sound cruel But I've heard all your talking I disagree with your rules Your words have no meanings Monotonous as waves I've heard them before In hundreds of ways You try to convince But only the weak are swayed I know who I am I'll never be changed Give me your statistics Your religion and hate I'll show you the beauty In those you berate Who gave you the right To judge or to preach? Why do you try to break Things out of your reach? You think you're a god That you are enlightened You're the devil's desciple Lost and frightened Can't understand Just hate and fear Don't want to see What should be so clear So why try to change That which will not be swayed? You're so quick to draw Why don't you change your ways? We all stopped listening when you opened your mouth When the first word fell and the hate came out So take yourself And your narrow views away This is my world I like it my way. Back to top

Glass By: Missfortune The glitter of gems Like fallen stars they lay Scattered on the pavement Flashing in the colors of the night Red and blue they gleam Silent witnesses to the scene Of a soul slipping into the darkness Back to top

When Nobody's Looking By: Missfortune When nobody's looking That's when you make your move When nobody notices Your actions are so smoothe The slightest little pressure In some hidden place I look so surprised But you've no expression on your face I try to keep silent But you tease me so I squirm slightly away But I've nowhere to go When I start getting desperate That's when you retreat And I'm left blushing And staring at my feet When asked what's wrong I mumble I have no reply For how am I to tell them The real reason why? What am I supposed to say That I was in a trance? When the real reason Was your hand down my pants! Back to top

At the Wishing Well By: Missfortune Trunks: I've got a secret No one else can know I have to tell you I've nowhere else to go I'm in love with someone He is my best friend But I cannot tell him For fear of our friendships end I really couldn't bear it If he turned me down I think I'd feel broken In sorrow I would drown So that's my secret I've nothing else to tell Thanks for listening Little Wishing Well Goten: I brought you an offering A nice shiny quarter I'm going to throw it down Into your water I hope you accept it And grant my wish It's very simple I wish for a kiss But not just from Any Tom, Dick or Ken Who I really really want Is my best friend So I'd be grateful If you could perhaps Get him to kiss me And enjoy it back. The Wishing Well: Two friends once came To my little well They both had something They wanted to tell One had a secret The other a wish The result was the same They both got a kiss One from the other They gave and received It was a happy ending Nobody grieved And what did I get From all of this I made people happy That's my only wish! Lonely in Myself By: Missfortune I am never alone But I am lonely in myself Always fighting for survival but barely getting by Always being manly when silently I cry Strong on the outside Shattered within Always victorious But never really win Waiting for something to take me away Waiting for someone To come out and say "I care" Back to top

The Color of My Love By: Missfortune The color of my love is not red of the heart Nor is it the green of the earth My love is not the gold of the sun Not the silver of the air The color of my love is not the brown of rich soil Or the violet of evening skies Not the orange of the setting sun The blue of deepest oceans Or the heavy blackness of shadows The color of my love is pure as new fallen snow Untainted by the footprints of man White as a dove White as heaven's pearly gates White as the brightest cloud in the sky A love eternal that will never die. Dead Roses By: Missfortune Roses They whither as all things Life so brief Their blossoms open and close Whither and die. Glass Cages By: Missfortune They watch through the glass cages They trap the others in They distance themselves Cutting off the infection From the 'beautiful sickening creatures' 'Unnatural, freaks' They envy from afar Secretly wishing to be on the other side Fantasizing about the touch Of those forbidden angels Hypocrites all They wonder what its like They dream of the possibility And yet they criticize They fool themselves To fit in To be pure But they are not They never will be And those in the glass cage will laugh For they have found love In the arms of another And they don't have to wonder All they have to do Is have faith Love Back to top

Divine Justice By: Missfortune Shatter the illusion Mirror to their hearts Shy from the truth Hide in the shadows Lashing out at those they envy Those they fear Those they don't bother to understand Love is indiscriminant But they judge And weigh down their souls With injustice Adding to the list That awaits them At the pearly gates Let them judge For in the end A divine gavel will knock them to hell.
