You are not alone: A fallen angel, remembrance "What's so funny Yamato?" Miyoko was the first to speak up. "Like a dove in a golden cage..." "Or an angel in her sanctuary!" Kaizer threw open the doors, wild rage on his face. "OUT!" he bellowed. "Out or all of you die!" "Kaizer!" the girl jumped to her feet. "Hime, Go! They're waiting for you!" With the patter of soft feet she ran out as fast as she could. "Hime..." Iori smiled. "the Japanese word meaning princess." "You said that already!" Snapped Daisuke "Get out of here you brats!" Kaizer billowed with anger. "We won't leave till we have defeated you!" Daisuke stepped forward with all this courage. "Fine then, we may fight, but not in my princess room! A ladies refuge is no place for a battle! Now out with you all! You have soiled her heaven!" The digidestined, for once, had no retorts to this and followed Kaizer out of the room. Taichi was the last to exit and he noticed a small wooden sign on the door. 'Angel sanctuary' it read in golden letters. "You have foiled my plan, and attempted to bring down my empire, all things I will take care of in time, but now you de-mask my love, you invade her heaven! You are repulsive children! You dare to hurt my Hime the way you hurt her before! I saved her from you, and I'm sure you've all long forgotten her! She came to me wounded and alone, because of all of you! I will NOT allow you to inflict anymore pain upon her!" Kaizer yelled so loud, and with such anger, Digimon who worked in the rooms on either side of the corridor stuck their heads out to see what the commotion was. "W-what are you talking about!?" Daisuke sapped back, totally lost. "I've never seen this girl in our life! None of us have!" "Yea!" Miyoko and Iori coursed at once. The others stayed silent. "Come guys, back me up!" Daisuke asked, Takaru shook his head. "We can't, We know her..." "Why didn't you say something a minuet ago?!" Daisuke nearly yelled, "I had forgotten about her..." Takaru dropped his gaze to the floor "Exactly my point! I took her with me, She will be my princess when you are all destroyed! She shall step from her shroud of darkness and rule over this land with me! Now die!" Every Digimon from the surrounding rooms ran out, at least a hundred Digimon, throwing attaches, and yelling loudly. While blinded by confusion they over took the digidestined, getting their Digimon a good beat down before they could ever digivolve. "Hey! Stop that!" Daisuke yelled in protest. "Sperate them! Put the Digimon in the power chamber! But her!" He pointed at Miyoko. "Bring her to my Hime." "Get in there!" Miyoko was shoved through a door into darkness. "Hime, the emperor gives her to you." the seemingly bodiless voice said. "Thank you." She cooed and walked toward the girl. It was dark, but Miyoko could still make out the girl's features. "Your one of them aren't you?" she whispered. "What's your name, girl?" "M-Miyoko." She stuttered slightly frightened. "Fine then, Miyoko. You will come with me." the girl turned. "You may call me Hime." Miyoko quickly followed her. "You shall be the first to enter my court. When I am empress I will have a great court, and you may have the privilege of being the first." "C-c-court?" "Yes, you shall make a fine lady in waiting. I've always wanted one." "LADY IN WAITING?" "Faymon!" Hime called into the darkness and small light lit and floated over. Miyoko was confused as to what was happening. The girl kept touching her, running her hands through her hair, making measurements and mental notes. "Yes Mistress?" "Fetch my knapsack." "Yes Mistress!" the Faymon flew off and few moments later came flying back, easily caring the large burden and then gently setting it at the girls feet. "Thank you my pet. Now for you Miyoko." "W-what are you going to do to me?" >>I wonder what kind of horrible things are in that bag, weapons, knifes, guns, what is she going to do to me.<< "Make you fit to be a lady of a court." From her bag she pulled a small white parcel. "Now that the digidestined are captured it is time to step out into the light. It is time for my coming. Put this on" she thrust the parcel into Youli's gloved hands. "Put you... um... garments over there, I'll have them taken care of for you." >>more like disposed of, these are disgusting.<< Miyoko was still confused and baffled. She figured she should do as she was told at least for the time being. She stepped back from the girl and slid out of her clothes and into the thin layers of the soft white silk. Like some one had draped many elegant table clothes around her shoulder the dress hung on her thin, tooth pick body loosely. "Is it supposed to look like this?" "Of course it dose, Lady Miyoko." The girl smiled to her self quite satisfied. "Now sit and I shall continue. "HEY! Let us out of here!" Daisuke yelled loudly, pulling on the bars that held him back. "Daisuke it's no use, no one is going to help us." Hikari sighed hopelessly and leaned back against the wall, pulling her knees to her chest. "She's right." Takaru took off his hat. "We're stuck here." "Hey guys... where's Miyoko?" Iori spoke up rising to his feet. "Did Kaizer send her someplace else?" "I don't know." Yamato shrugged and looked away again. "Onii-san, what's wrong?" Takaru moved closer to his brother. "Don't worry about it, it's nothing. Hey you guys, if we're planning to break out, like we always seem to, why don't we get some sleep? And ya know there tons of room in here, can we stop crowding together?" Yamato rose and walked across the cell and seated himself opposite every one, his back to them. >>why did she have to come back now? I'm certain glad Takaru hasn't noticed, he was so broken up about the whole thing when she left. Sometimes I wish he was still younger... Then I could just hug him and explain to him really simply what is going on... I wish I could just sit with him in my lap again...<< He pulled his knees to his chest and rested her head on them. >>I wish everything was simple again. When it was just me and Taichi, Sora and Mimi, Joyu and Koushiro, And Takaru and... Kiku.<< "Onii-san?" Takaru squatted in front of him. "You can't fool me, I'm not as naive as I used to be, ya know. I can see through it." "Takaru... Now is just not the place... and I wish you where as naïve as you used to be..." He looked away. "Yamato..." His put his hand on his brothers shoulder. "You don't understand... you'll never understand Takaru... no one will. It's my own stupid problem and I intend to keep it that way." "Your so stubborn!" Takaru plopped down, eagle style. "You can't keep everything to yourself all the time Yamato, it's bad for you! I'm staying right here till you tell me what wrong!" "Takaru...you'd understand... that's the whole problem." He shook his head and laughed to hid his pain. "What do you mean?" "It just." He sat back a little, "when you where smaller and we had problems like this, all I had to do was hold you in my arms like this." Yamato reached out and warped his arms around nothing and pretended to hold a tiny Takaru. "And even if it didn't help you to be less scared, it helped me... knowing that you loved me... but now,... I can't lie to you and tell you I'm sure it's going to be alright... I can't hold you and watch you sleep... I can't be the big brother you brag about anymore... You don't need me anymore, who am I kidding. I only come back here to be with you... I hate it here! I hate everything bout the digiworld... but I hope maybe just once... it could be like it was before..." He didn't want to look at Takaru, he didn't want to look at anything but his shaking hands that where rested on his knees. "Your right... I do understand..." Takaru rose to his feet, and Yamato thought he was going to leave him there. but then Takaru sat down between his brother legs and smiled. "Lie to me." He took off his hat and smiled. "I'll always be you little brother Yamato... and... for a long time after we came back from the digiworld all I wanted was to sit in your lap again... but mom said I had to be strong and not cry or you'd think I was weak. So I didn't cry and I never asked to be this close to you... " Yamato put his arms around Takaru and hugged him tightly. "It's my job to love you no matter what... even when you think your weak." Takaru didn't -really- understand Yamato's feelings. Now it was his turn to lie and comfort his brother. But he smiled quaintly and leaned against Yamato. "I love you Onii-san." Takaru smiled, loosing him self in Yamato's arms, it had been so long since he had sat like this. "Faymon, this is what I want you to do." Hime stroked the ball of light with her long milky finger. "Take the digidestined and do as you please. Torture them, make they cry. Except The blonde boys. Leave them for me. Take Lady Miyoko and have her... um... made loyal." "Yes Hime." "Then bring the boys to me. As for their Digimon, control them. They will be a great assent to Ken's army, will they not my pet?" "They will Hime." "I'm glad you agree Faymon." She smiled. "You seem a bit tease, something wrong?" "I've been meaning to ask you Hime, when will it be our turn to fight?" "As soon as you bring the blond boys to me. They shall be our kill." "Yea Hime. I will enjoy that." The Faymon hissed and if you had been able to see it's tiny mouth, it smiled deviously. Kaizer smiled and listened to his Hime talk sweetly to him thought what she said meant nothing. He just, for those few moment, sat there, as she stroked his cheek. And every time he was close to her there was something in his head, just a tiny flash, a spark really. Like something his brain was trying to remember but every time it would come into view it was to far away to grasp, but close enough to run his finger tip across. A memory that wanted to be recovered, by something was blocking it. "Hime..." he interrupted her not-important sentence. "-uh- hai Kaizer-kun?" "Do you remember how you got here, the time you met me?" He reached out, almost blindly and touched her face. "I was... At my house. And I found my crest and Digivise in the bottom of my drawer... and all the pictures of Yamato and I stared crying... and all I wanted to do was go back to the digital world but I couldn't get the Digiport to open. I thought something was wrong with my computer so I sent an e-mail into the digital world and you found it and opened the Digiport, Then took me in with you." She laid her head on his chest. "You where still Kaizer then... the real Kaizer..." she buried her face in his chest. "You where so sweet to me... your hands where so gentle but now... now that all you want to do is rule everything..." and then she did the one think Kaizer hadn't seen her do since he brought her here. She sobbed for him, not for herself. "I want so bad for this all to be over, for you to either win or loose. I want you back Kaizer, back to the way you where. I Love you Kaizer..." He looked down at her, wide eyed. He didn't know what to say, had it been anyone else he would have lashed out at them. Hurt they until they obeyed, but she was different. He handled her with a gentleness he had long forgotten. He held her like he blew bubbles, as if the even the slightest hard touch might shatter her into nothing. What had happened to him? He couldn't remember... from entering the digiworld on was a blur, a lonely blur. Then he found her. Trying to open the Digiport, and he let her in. Now here she was with him. He did know one thing for sure. He would never let the Digidestined make her cry again. "Hime, You will come now." He rose to his feet and pulled her up. "Go and change, get you crest and you digivise, it is time for you to exit your dark haven-" "But Kaizer!" "No. You will punish the Digidestined as you where originally planning, behind my back I might add -Which was perfect alright- It will be you who will bring my greatest foe to their knees. Oh and Hime, your lady is finished." "T-thank you Kaizer." She stifled her sobs and bowed. He kissed the top of her head. "Anything for my Hime. Shall I call your lady?" "Please?" "Miyoko!" And that's all it took the solemn figure to immerge. "The cleaning process went off with out a hitch, she is your loyal servant." He smiled. "I will have her Digimon brought to you. And you may use her in you battle if you please." "Thank you. I have had the digidestined separated in different chamber about the keiko arena, I will battle them there." She smiled. "I will come to watch you, Hime." And with that he left. "Dear, Dear Miyoko!" The girl clapped her hands together. "Will we emerge from the darkness and you may show you friends your new Jewelry." She ran her long finger over the black ring that encircled Miyoko's neck several times. "Won't that be wonderful?" "Yes." "Good, good! Then we shall get you filthy little Digimon and punish these digidestined they way they have punished me." "What's going on!" Daisuke pulled at the bars. "Another cage, this isn't fair!" He groaned and crossed his arms. "It's all right Daisuke, We'll figure something out!" Iori did his best to be optimistic but even that was slipping. "My grandfather says there always an answer to every problem, there has to be a way out of here to get back to the others-" Just then the bar door swung open. "Your pep talks have really good timing Iori! If you keep this up I'll have to start believing you!" Daisuke didn't wait for Iori to answer before he bolted out of the cell as fast as he could. Luckily there was only one way he could possibly go, and he figured that was good enough. Eventually the corridor ended and opened out to a huge arena, about as big as a soccer field. "Wow, this is cool! I didn't know the Digimon emperor played soccer. Maybe he wants to challenge me to a game! YA!" "Daisuke!" "Huh?" It was Veemon, running across the open area toward him! "Daisuke I found you!" He had Armadillomon close in tow. "Hey! Veemon!" He ran and embraced his friend, catching him in midair. "I thought I wouldn't see you again!" "Course you would! We're partners, and partners don't give up on each other!" Veemon winked and flashed thumbs up at Daisuke. "Armadillomon! I'm so happy to see you! I was worried!" Iroi hugged Armadillomon. "I'm glad to see you too Iroi!" "How quaint!" A female voice echoed through the entrapment. "Enjoy yourselves while you can, I'll make you feel the pain you inflicted on me." "Who's there?" Daisuke yelled, turning a full circle. "Maybe I should give you back you friends first. The more the merrier, ne?" A large door at the end of the arena opened and Hikari, Taichi, and their Digimon came running out. "Daisuke!" Hikari yelled and glomped him she was so happy to see him. "Iori! I'm so glad to see you both!" she sighed in relife. "Now that your all here..." This time it was the Digimon emperors' voice. "I shall unveil my Hime." He smiled as he emerged from the shadows. "Oh!" Iori gasp as their eyes where drawn to a high platform, and suddenly a spot light was shone upon it. Out of the shadows came a pale skinned girl in a denim half shirt and flare jeans, long brown hair curled about her face with one long stand in front of her ear. "Your-your-" Taichi stuttered and pointed at the girl. "Yes, Taichi-San. I am she. I the princess of the Digital world, and she who you left behind. And now I will make you all cry as you have made me! You will all die!" With an evil laughter a swarm of tiny lights flew from behind her. "Faymon!" she yelled and sent her personal Digimon, the glowing blue one, out. "Send them back to hell!" The digidestined where sent into confusion and they scattered about. "What are these thing?" Daisuke yelled as he ran. "We're the Faymon, we follow Hime!" One yelled at him "Hana beam!" A bolt of soft blue light shot forward at Daisuke and knocked him to the ground, pain rushed thought his body and there was heat raging in his back, he reached back to touch it and where he looked at is hand again his glove was stained crimson. "Blood...?" Never before had it crossed his mind he could actually get hurt in the digital world. For a moment the sounds of the Faymon died away and all he could hear was the laughter of the Princess. Then suddenly he felt another strike hit his back, then another. He could hear the Faymon sending their attach toward him and he closed his eyes, bracing himself for the pain. But it never came. He looked up and for a split second he saw the Hana Beams coming at him, the swirl of bright light over head, and then a figure between him and the attach. He didn't have time to yell out her name before she was pummeled with the pain meant for him, everything seemed to slow down as he watch Hikari's body collapse to the floor. "H-I-K-A-R-I!" He scrambled over to her. "Hikari! No!" Blood stained the front of her shit, her face, her hair. He ignored the fight going on around him, all he could see, hear, or feel was Hikari's pain. Tears ran down her cheeks, leaving trains in the crimson stain that was splashed across her face. "It hurts Daisuke... It hurts so much." "Why did you do that Hikari?! Damn it!" he yelled at her. "Cuze... people do crazy things-" she winced. "When their in love." she tried to smile but the pain over powered all her senses. "Hi-Hikari!" Daisuke put his head against in her chest and hugged her. "hold on! Just hold on!" He looked up to call the other, but when he did all he could see was the Faymon. "Where- where are my friends...?" "Look for yourself boy!" the girl laughed and pointed. Taichi, Iori, and all of their Digimon lay on the ground. "Why are you doing this to my friends!" Daisuke yelled holding Hikari close to him. "What did we do to you! We don't even know you!" Angry tears welled in his eyes. "Ask your friend Taichi, he will tell you who I am!" "Taichi!" Daisuke looked at him, Taichi was pulling himself up to his feet. "I know her. I can't not deny that. It's a pity though, that I have to say you where once one of us! Kiku!" he spat blood. "I trusted you! I trusted you with my life once!" "And trust me no more will you! For you Taichi will feel the pain I have!" "I don't know what you talking about!" he staggered toward her. "You left me all alone, all of you did. I had to go back to the real world after I had discovered the one thing that could change my life forever!" he pulled a necklace out of her pocket. "The crest of compassion! You see this! And my Digimon, She's dead! And she's not coming back! Miyoshimon is gone forever because you where to weak to save me. You where all to weak! You didn't care what happened to me anyway!" He hair framed her face perfectly as she shook her head in sheer anger in rage. "That's not true Kiku! You know we cared about you-" "Then why didn't you let me come back? Why didn't you open the Digiport for me when I asked you Taichi! I called to your dreams every night and begged you to open it for me but did you?" Her anger was growing, and she jumped down to his level. "I-" "You didn't! You didn't do anything! You could have had me all to yourself and you knew it Taichi! I would have only taken two words and I would have been all your, body and mind! But you lost the battle and now all of you will lose the war!" And then suddenly everything was black, and Taichi hit the floor. Yamato stood firm next to Takaru. He scanned the ground, it was littered with blood splatters and what looked like glitter. "Onii-san... what's going on?" Takaru stuttered, fear growing with in him. He stepped back so his back was pressed against that of his brothers. "I think we're about out find out." In a last act of comfort her took Takaru's hand and squeezed. "I love you Takaru." Yamato swallowed hard, he knew all to well what was coming. "SO nice to see you again..." Kiku, the Digimon emperors' Princess, stepped from the darkness. "Onii-san." She sneered. "Kiku-chan!" Takaru exclaimed in excitement. "Don't get to excited Takaru, I'm not here to play this time." She strolled over to them. Swinging her hips as she always had. She ran her finger across Yamato's cheeks. "You've grown up now haven't you?" she laughed, deviously taking a hand full of his hair. "Thought you could forget all about me now didn't you?" The yelled into his face. "Let go of him Kiku!" Takaru tried to push her away but she only shoved him to the floor. "This isn't you fight child. I'll will deal with you later. If I where you I'd be good and maybe I'll be merciful." She yelled at him, the evil that had crept into her was slowly filling her blue eyes. "Takaru... stay back. I'll take care of her." Yamato grit his teeth. "You'll do nothing of the sort. I'm going to make you cry like a baby right her in front of Takaru. I'm going to make you beg, I'm going to make you feel as much pain as I have since you left me behind." Tears clouded her vision and soon cascaded down her cheeks. "Fine, do what you want. But answer me this... why did you come back here? Why didn't you go back to me?" "I came back... because Kaizer promised to love me and give me my vengeance. He told me that when the digidestined where brought to their knees and crying in agony I would have everything I desired. And in those desires where you. He said if you where all defeated I could you for my own. Both of you!" She looked at Takaru. "I would keep as you my own. Like birds in a golden cage, much like I have been for a long time now. But now, I don't want to keep you, alive anyway." She pulled Yamato to the ground with a hard yank to his hair. "Not so big with out your friends around are you Yama-chan?" She sneered right in his face, her nose just barely above his. She could feel his breathe heavily in fear, she could almost get her first taste of it. "I hate you Yamato Ishida!" and then she kissed his roughly, forcing her lips on to his and she held it there. "No! YOU GET AWAY FROM MY ONII-SAN!" Takaru jumped to his feet and grabbed the back of Kiku's shirt and with all his strength pulled her away from his brother. She stumbled back a few steps then stopped and looked at Takaru. "SO it's a fight you want... Just do me one favor... remember the time you called me sister." She backed away. "Faymon!" The same twinkle of light appeared. "Take them." "Yes ma'am!" The thing flew at them. "You all remember dear Myoshimon. Because of you she can not come back to me, but this Faymon has bound herself to be, you should see what she can do! Ho ho ho ho!" "Hana beam!" the Faymon shouted shooting it's pain at Takura and Yamato, who both jumped away from each other to narrowly dodge the attach. It was a game of cat and mouse and The Faymon was quickly gaining the upper hand. "Enough of this. Faymon!" She pulled the D3 from her belt loop, a dark digivise much like the one Kaizer had. -Digiarmor energize!- -Faymon Armor Digivolved to Rakuenmon, The bearer of revaluation- [Rakuenmon is a legendary Digimon, it is said this Digimon is the one who helped bring this world into existence. You've got to watch out her for Umibun ray and her smashing mallet of creation.] "Now it's time to die! Rakuenmon show them what you made of!" "You've got it!" The tiny fairy Digivolved to something twice the height of Kiku and looked very much like a girl with huge white wings and armor made of a white metal. "Umibun Ray!" A spear of white light shot from the cannon on the back of her arm and went directly toward Yamato. Narrowly he leaped out of the way and rolled to safety. But he wasn't fast enough to get to his feet and caught the next attach straight to his chest. "Onii-san!" Takaru yelled as Yamato went flying backward into a wall. "Onii-san!" Takaru put his hand on Yamato's chest. The attach had ripped a good sized chunk out of Yamato. "I've had worse scrapes than this... don't worry about me Takaru." He winked and gave him a thumbs up. "all you have to do is melt her heart..." and then he closed his eyes for what should have been the last time. "Kiku!" Takaru growled, gritting his teeth. "I don't have Patamon and I don't have my friends, but I will find a way to beat you." "That, little boy, is impossible. But I will give you three options." She held up three of her long fingers. "Ichi, you can join my service of your own free will, I will revive Yamato and you can both live in luxury and peace as my servants. Ni, both you and your brother can die at my hand or San, both you and Yamato can die at the hands of your friends." She smiled. "None of those are going to happen! I'll never give into you and my friends would nerve turn against me! I run this show!" He yelled pushing back fearful tears. "I guess there a new star now." And as she said this Miyoko, Iori, Daisuke, Taichi and Hikari all appeared at the far side of the arena, their Digimon close at there sides and each more a new piece of jewelry. "You see humans can be controlled with my dark ring as well as Digimon. So Takaru, what will it be, one, two or three?" "ENOUGH!" Everyone, who was in self control anyway, turned to see the Digimon emperor coming toward them, his cape flapping behind him. "Kaizer!" Kiku gasp and bowed to him. "You have had you wanted revenge Kiku, leave this boy in tact, we can use him." He smiled at Takaru evilly. "You'll never take me!" Tears flowed freely down his face. "Never! I trusted you Kiku, I love you like a sister! And this is what I get! You try and kill my brother, you take my friends! I was worried about you Kiku. After you left you where all I talked about-" "Silence" she yelled. "No! You silence yourself! You hurt us all, we never wanted you to leave but when we came back you where already gone! You can't blame us! You can't punish us for your own self hatred! I WANT MY BROTHER BACK! I WANT YOU BACK KIKU! I WANT MY SISTER!" *SLAP!* Kiku's hand met with Takaru's face "I can't ever be that girl again! I might have been then but I'm not now! I won't be her because she was who Yamato loved. And he will never love me not after what I've done..." It was like something inside snapped and she hit her knees. "I don't want to turn back in to her. I worked so hard for what I have now." "Hime..." Kaizer put his arms around her and held her. "Kaizer-kun!" she turned and buried her face into his shirt. "Taskate Kaizer-kun... taskate..." Takaru stood stupefied staring at the two. He didn't understand what had happened and how it had but the very next thing he remembered was opening his eyes to see Miyoko dressed in a white dress that had been ripped to many pieces and strained crimson. He shook his head, still confused and let the world slip away. It took three days for Daisuke to get out of the hospital, a week for Hikari, and two for Yamato. The others had been fortunate enough to escape the heavy wounds. It had been nearly three weeks after their encounter with The Digimon emperors' princess did they actually sit and converse about it. Yamato was the first to say anything to them. "I got a text message on my cell today." He told the group bluntly. "From a girl no doubt," Miyoko giggled. "Ya, Yamato sure has a way with girls, my sister still want's to go out with you ya know!" Daisuke added laughing as he always did. They where all wearing it off well. "Ya it's a girl, but you'll never guess who..." no one answered. "Kiku." A collective gasp came from the others. "What did she say?" Hikari wanted to know. "It said:" he pulled out his phone and read the message straight off "Yamato, meet me under our cheery tree tonight and I will tell you everything you want to know. Don't be late, I don't like to wait. Kiku. Ps, I found my power, it was with my heart." He clutched his phone. "I hope she's alright..." "She's alright!?!" Daisuke fell over with surprise. "She should be asking you that! She tried to kill us and you worried about her?" "You don't understand Daisuke, I love her. We all did at one time or another... she taught us all something very important, and if anyone deserved the crest of compassion, it was her."
