Point D’Arrêt chapter 8: Not Meant For Me
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Kissa looked at her fallen sister and squeezed her eyes shut. How had their
leader been defeated so easily? She went to scream, but found that a hand
grasping her throat restricted that right. She opened her eyes and looked deep
into Tohru’s eyes. They stared at each other for what seemed like forever.
Kissa closed her eyes in defeat, the fell limp. Tohru let the other girl go and
watched as she fell to the ground.
Kissa suddenly jumped up and took off running through the woods. Tohru ran off
after her, not knowing what the other had planned.
---
Kotek sobbed as she shook her head no. She clenched her fist, then screamed out.
She went to punch Kyou, but he grabbed her fist and squeezed it. She looked up
at him. Why hadn’t he killed her yet? He’d had every chance to.
<< "Kotek-chan, how old are you?" Kyou looked at the girl who
was playing with a doll. She looked up to him and grinned.
"I’m twelve."
"And why do you kill?"
"It’s the only thing I know."
"How many people have you killed?"
"I don’t remember."
"Who ordered you to kill those people?"
"Akito-sama.">>
Kotek looked up into Kyou’s eyes. What was the purpose for all those questions
then? Why had he asked her and acted like he cared? Why was he being so
trivial?
"Your sister... is going to die." Kyou watched as the girl looked up
to him with indifferent eyes. Yuki walked over to the two. What was Kyou
planning? What was so special about that child? That child who had hurt Tohru
so easily?
"I know. She kills because she enjoys it. I kill because it’s all I
know." The girl tried to jerk away from Kyou, but he pulled her to him. He
hugged the girl, and no transformation took place. The girl was at least one
foot three inches shorter than Kyou, and had her head buried against him
crying. Yuki reached down and touched the girl’s shoulder.
---
Tohru caught up with Kissa near where her tent had been set up when she had
been living on her own. She tackled the girl to the ground, sending them both
rolling on the ground. Finally, Tohru came out on top and slammed the other
girl into the ground to insure that she didn’t move.
"What are you afraid of?! Why do you keep killing, keep adding regret and
hate to your soul! Why are you running away?" Tohru rolled onto the ground
beside the other girl and looked up at the sky. The sun was shining brightly,
birds were nestling in the trees, chirping their melodies. Kissa looked up at
the sky as well, dazed. No one had ever approached her like that. No one had
ever cared. She lay, not blinking, hardly breathing.
"I’m afraid... that I’ll enjoy life.... that... I’ll fall in love like
Katze did. Katze loved Kyou, you know. But even after we erased his memories...
he never let go of Yuki. Yuki... Yuki... Yuki is really amazing, to keep a guy
like Kyou’s attention..."
"It’s love, Kissa.... Love keeps them together. What do you say...? Start
over? Build a new life with us?"
"A new life.... a new beginning... with you, Kyou, Yuki, and the
others?... to be a Sohma again.... Hai..."
---
"I don’t want to leave you Kyou-kun! Please don’t send me away."
Kotek grabbed Kyou’s waist, refusing to let go. Kyou looked to Yuki, they had
been about to send her away when she’d started her desperate fight to stay with
him. He bent down and took the girl in his arms. The true root of the evil had
been killed, knocked out the window... but there was still one more loose
end...
---
Akito sat in his room, confident that the plan had gone over perfectly. The
door to his room opened and a weak Yuki stumbled in. Akito smiled, it was
exactly as planned. The girls had gotten rid of Tohru, and brought him Yuki.
He couldn’t make out Yuki’s face because the room was as black as pitch, but he
knew it was him because the girls had promised to bring him. He stood, ready to
go take Yuki in his arms. As he advanced, Yuki stopped walking and looked up.
Akito looked at him, paying attention only to him. He didn’t notice the three
figures enter his window.
Three flashlights turned on and focused in on "Yuki’s" face. Akito
jumped back when he realized that it wasn’t Yuki, but Kyou. He spun around to
see Kotek, Kissa, and Tohru holding the flashlights. There was a sound at the window,
making Akito turn. Yuki sat in the window, a sullen look on his face.
"What is going on here? Where is Katze?"
"Katze is dead Akito-sama. She died for you. It’s time to repay you...." Kotek smiled as Kyou grabbed
Akito by the wrist and turned him around. It was their payback, payback for his
manipulation.
---
4 months later~~
"BAKA NEKO!" Kissa and Kyou glared at each other from across the
classroom. They stalked over to each other and pushed their sleeves up, ready
to throw a few punches. Yuki and Tohru jumped up and separated the two.
"I knew letting them stay with us was going to be hell!" Kyou glared
and crossed his arms as Yuki gently pushed him back in his desk. Kissa sat on
top of her desk and glared at Kyou. Uo-chan was laughing over the scene, Kissa
reminded her of herself (except for Kissa wore her skirt too short and her
shirts were too tight and she had various slits in the skirt and shirt that she
had safety pinned shut ^.^VV)
Tohru smiled. Life had been crazy since she’d come to live with Yuki-kun,
Shigure-kun, and Kyou-kun... but now that she knew that she belonged to that
family, she was happier than ever! She’d found her reason to smile, so had the
others. Kyou and Yuki were raising Kotek as if she was their child, and she
loved every minute of it. Kissa was more like Kyou’s twin sister, and they
treated each other as if they were siblings. She sighed. Life was perfect now
that they had tied off loose ends.

Karasu Shinigami’s Insanity Ward, USA
Akito rocked back and forth. He mumbled about half human and half cats who had
attacked him. He screamed about being the head of the Sohma clan. He yelled for
Shigure to come, he yelled for Hatori to come. But in the end, all he received
was a visit from his therapist, a pink haired teenager who was called Megami no Shinda by her co-workers.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
"But Akito still doesn’t know. If there is someone that hurt someone else,
then there is always someone that can help them."
Fanfic-Fin
Okies, I ended it in the most Crow way I could. ::giggles:: I’m his therapist
