Predilection

Ayame giggled in the room he'd stolen Kunhui to. He'd had a fit over the boy, expressing in very loud words that the child reminded him of himself. He'd insisted that he had to make an outfit for the child right then and there, then ran off with the boy to Yuki and Kyou's room. He'd pulled Roan in with him, claiming that he needed to talk to him while he worked on the vibrant outfit.

Yuki and Kyou sat outside the room, silently listening in to make sure Ayame didn't try anything with Roan. Both had their ears pressed hard to the door, listening for anything that may sound like Ayame trying to molest Roan. However, they weren't expecting the door to fly open when it did. Roan slid the door open, and the two elder males fell forward on top of Roan.

Roan blushed and gulped as he felt the two bodies fall on top of him. He could feel their skin perfectly on his bare chest. His leather-clad legs were entwined, one with Kyou and one with Yuki. Yuki's left hand was barely touching his chest, while Kyou's right hand had fallen a little too close to Roan's crotch.

"G-Gomen!" Yuki scrambled up, pulling Kyou and Roan both up as he did. For being such a slight guy, Yuki was strong. Roan felt this in Yuki's grip, but he also noted something else as well. He smiled handsomely as he stared Yuki in the eyes. His smile turned into a mock-smirk as he shook his head slightly.

"It's ok Yuki-kun, I should apologize to you and Kyou-kun, I didn't realize you two were outside the door when I opened it. Gomen." He bowed slightly, making a slight sweeping gesture with his right arm so it crossed over his stomach, while his left arm bent out. He held the appearance of a true gentleman. As he rose back up from the bow, he took a quick moment to throw a quick glance at Kyou, drinking in the sight of him.

"Oh, we're in your way…" Kyou went to move, but Roan shook his head no.

"I was actually going to go look for you, Kunhui wants to show you his new outfit." Roan walked back into the room. Kyou and Yuki, both, found themselves watching him closely as he walked, but soon shook their heads and left their stupor. They walked in after him, not expecting a ball of black and red to attack them.

This ball of black and red turned out to be Kunhui. As Kyou pried him off his waist, he began to observe the clothes the child wore. The outfit was shades of red, and made of the finest velvet. The shirt came to his waist, hanging looser at the bottom than the top. The bottom of the shirt was fringed with white lace that hung down an inch. The collar of the shirt folded over itself, then buttoned at the top of the collar. It laced shut from under the button down to the boy's navel. The sleeves on the shirt were tight at the shoulder, and hung loose at the wrists, flaring out, and were a pinkish-red color. The cuffs of the sleeves were trimmed with a deep red strip of silk cloth that was no thicker than a quarter of an inch. The pants were a deep black, made of the same velvet material, and were made like the pants of a suit. There was a blood red tribal that snaked its way up the side of the right leg, forming a heart of sorts where it ended. He wore a pair of black dress shoes that were highly polished and looked almost like vinyl. His hair had been tied back into a braid, then wrapped around into a bun that sat, centered, on the back of his head.

"How is it?" Kunhui looked to Kyou and Yuki as they looked him over. He grinned as he spun around, making the shirt flare out. It rose up to show off his stomach, then fell neatly back into place when he stopped. Yuki smiled as he nodded, giving his approval. Kyou picked the child up, and immediately Kunhui wrapped his legs around his waist.

"I like it, let's go show Mira-san and the others…"

"Ah! Kyou-kun, Ayame-san said he wanted to speak with the two of us in private… Yuki-kun, would you mind taking Kunhui down stairs?" Roan watched as Yuki smiled and nodded. He walked over to take Kunhui off of Kyou, and walked out. Kyou shut the door after him, then turned to the other two in the room.

"What?"

"That little BRAT!" Addie took off after Hato who was waving around a photograph in pride. Ash sat on the ground, his eyes wide in shock. Hato had just gotten a picture of Addie and Ash fooling around. He watched as Addie jumped on Hato and began to wrestle the picture out of Hato's hand. He had almost succeeded when a gloved hand reached down and took the picture from the boys. Addie and Hato looked up to see their cousin Kirai standing above them, studying the picture. He wore a pair of dark sunglasses, and had a Twizzler hanging from his mouth. The red candy hung limply as he sucked on one end of it, studying the picture.

Addie suddenly glared at the younger boy and jumped up. He pulled on the front of Kirai's bondage shirt with a glare. Kirai smirked as he pocketed the picture and grabbed Addie's hand. He applied a great amount of pressure to Addie's hand and pulled it back from his shirt.

"It's not nice, Addie, to pull at another's shirt like that." Kirai dropped Addie's hand and turned to walk off. Ash suddenly jumped up, he needed that photo back! He ran after Kirai, positioning himself in his path. He stepped forward and smiled at he younger, yet taller teen.

"Ah, Kirai-kun, may I have that photo please?" Ash smiled as Kirai looked at him for a moment, then fished the photo out of his pocket and handed it to Ash. Ash accepted the picture and pocketed it. He leaned forward and gave his cousin a kiss on the cheek, then ran back over to Addie.

Kirai stood for a moment, almost as if confused, then continued to walk towards Shigure's house. Haru, sitting in the shade of a tree near where Ash had intercepted Kirai, smirked. The boy reminded him of himself. The white bondage pants, baggier than his own black bondage pants, and the matching white bondage shirt reminded him of something that he would wear. His personality even reminded him of himself. He stood quickly and decided that he was going to get to know the boy better, then work his way to getting to know the others.

He slowly walked over to Ash and Addie and smirked as he stared at the two. Addie blinked under the older male's gaze, then grasped Ash's hand. Haru, as Kyou had often told them, was unpredictable.

"There is a room in the house where you can do that privately, I'm sure. I'd use it next time." Haru turned from the two and walked away, leaving the two blinking in confusion.

Roan sighed as he lay on his bed, his head touching the floor. He was staring at the door, rolling his eyes every time someone walked by the room. Kunhui had talked Kyou and Ayame to take him to the main house to see what it was like there, so that left Roan with nothing to do. Mira and Shigure had gone off to have lunch with Hatori, and to talk about professional things that needed to be tended to. He was stuck in the house with Yuki, Haru, Momiji, and eleven Zodiac… and he was bored?

A slight knock sounded on the door, causing Roan to loose his balance and fall directly onto his head. The door opened, revealing Yuki. Yuki looked down at the younger male who was sitting up, rubbing his head. Yuki smiled slightly and walked over to Roan, pulling his hand back from his head with one hand and using the other to check his head.

"Did I startle you, Roan-kun?"

"Just a little, Yuki-kun." Roan looked up into Yuki's eyes and almost forgot to breath. His bottom lip quivered as Yuki's hand dropped to cradle his chin, and then slightly lift his head up to lock eyes with him. Yuki slightly licked his lips as he smiled.

"Roan-kun… Did Kyou-chan ever tell you…. How utterly Kawaii you are?" Yuki leaned forward and pressed his lips to Roan's in a chaste kiss. Roan sat in shock, just like he'd sat the one time Kyou had shown any interest in him…

--Flashback—

Kyou backed Roan against a wall, his fire red eyes locked themselves on enticing jade eyes that screamed "come fuck me". Kyou leaned forward, one hand on either side of Roan's body. Kyou kissed the hallow of Roan's neck, and smiled as Roan wrapped his arms around him and pulled him close.

"Why?"

"You are too fucking Kawaii…"

--End Flashback—

"H…Hai… Yuki-kun… He did… once…"

"Roan-kun, are you my rival? Do you love my Kyou-chan?"

"I-iie… I'm not your rival Yuki-kun, but I do… I do love Kyou…" Roan shivered as Yuki licked down his bare chest. Instinctively, Roan tangled his fingers in Yuki's fine hair, urging him on. Roan moaned slightly as Yuki dipped his tongue in his bellybutton.

"I-I never thought I'd fall so quickly. He was such a wild and beautiful spirit, just like you. Yuki-kun, you are very beautiful too." Roan watched as Yuki stopped what he was doing and looked deep into Roan's eyes. He was looking for any sign of mockery, for any sign that the boy was deceiving him. When he found no traces of this, he smiled sweetly and pulled Roan into a warm embrace.

"You're a truly kind person, Roan-kun. Is it possible to love two people equally? Roan-kun, can I love both you and Kyou?" Yuki felt Roan pull back from him to look him in the eyes. Roan blinked wildly, trying to figure out if Yuki had just asked what he thought he had. He looked deep into Yuki's eyes, searching for a hint of a joke. When he found none, he smiled slightly.

"Maybe the person you should be asking is Kyou. I'm sure he wouldn't want to share you with me. You're his life."

"I think Roan-kun underestimates Kyou-chan." As if on cue, Kunhui came running up the stairs. He was yelling for Roan and Yuki. Kyou was right behind him, asking the child who "that man" was. Yuki let Roan go as he jumped up and waited for the door to open. As it did, Kunhui bounded in and Kyou followed after.

"Roan-san, he's back…"

Addie and Ash froze as the dark figure passed by them. His soft blonde hair moved gently in the breeze, knocking the cherry from his cigarette. He let the cigarette fall to the ground and stomped on it. Kirai, with Haru, walked over to the man. Megami ran up and carefully positioned herself between the man and Kirai.

"Fall-san, you're back…"

"Move, little kitten, before I lose my temper and decide I don't like you."

"I will not let you inside."

"I'm here to see Roan."

"The true head of the Kauz family is my fiancé."

"What is his name, Mira-san?" Hatori watched as the girl turned to him with a sad look. A tear fell down her cheek at the thought of the man.

"His name is Aishen. Kauz Aishen… I haven't seen him in a while because, to keep the family safe, he left with Kauz Fall to live in America…"

"Ne, Mira-san, protect them from what?" Shigure watched as the girl bit her bottom lip, then turned to look out the window. The sky cracked. It was going to rain soon.

"The Zodiac were once allowed to leave the compound as they wished. Roan, Megami, Leigh, and I all attended the same school. Fall had gone to a private school with Aishen. One day, on the way home, he told Roan that he'd wanted to talk to him…"

"You bastard! Showing up here, acting nonchalant! They all know what you did to Roan!" Leigh tried to break free from Megami, Haru, Kirai, Ash, Addie, and Hato. She wanted so badly to kill the man. Her teeth were bared and she could taste blood. She was so close, yet so far.

Kyou and Yuki dashed towards Roan as he fell to the floor. His knees had given was the moment Kunhui had said the name "Fall". Kyou and Yuki wrapped protective arms around Roan as he began to shake and rock back and forth.

"…When I found Roan later that day, in a back alley near the school, he'd been beaten and raped. Fall had left him there."
